Record One Short Video. Get Verified.

Google sends you an email or a notification that says it's time to verify.

Open it on your phone, not your computer. You need the phone camera in the next steps.

If Google asks how you want to verify, pick Video recording.

Your phone will ask for permission to use the camera and microphone. Tap Allow. Nothing records yet, this just lets the camera turn on.

Tap the red button to start. Keep filming without stopping and show these three things:

1. Your location or vehicle
   Your shop, your work truck, the street sign nearby, your gear laid out.
2. Proof it's your business
   Your business licence, branded shirt, signage, or your name on the truck.
3. You and your tools
   Show yourself and the equipment you actually use for the work.

Once you've shown all three things, tap the button again to stop.

Watch it back for a second to make sure it's clear, then tap Submit. That's it, the video goes straight to Google. You don't upload anything anywhere else.
